Bliss

Upon my love I look so blissfully
into the eyes which she bears upon me.
I roll with delight upon her vibrant stare.
My nose tingles as I can smell her hair.
Her skin feels so supple on my rough skin.
She speeds my pulse as she glides through my hair.
Her small fingers twitching through the thick brush.
She takes away my final slowing breathe.
As she touches her tender lips to mine
I can finally feel enlightened bliss.

Sentry

The awkward night eats away at the dawning day. Silence.
The hollow winds blow through the slit in the window.
The chill of the night doesn't shake me,
the prospect of the coming morning makes me tremble.
My future, my potential;
All is wrapped into a simple action. A test of my competence and intelligence.
I don't know what is unknown to me.
I will never be able to prepare what I am unprepared for.
